Ordering food in a restaurant in Spanish
In Spanish to order food in a restaurant you use the verb “pedir” – “to ask for” (to order)
When I finish I just tell the waiter: “La cuenta por favor”. “The check please”.
Estoy en mi restaurante favorito para almorzar y voy a pedir una ensalada y unas tapas. También voy a pedir un café.
Todo estaba delicioso. Ahora tengo que volver a trabajar: “¡La cuenta por favor!”
I am at my favourite restaurant for lunch and I am going to order a salad and some tapas. I am also going to order a coffee.
